Identity
Identity captures the soul of the team or organization: what it believes, why it exists and what it values. It clarifies the why and aligns stakeholders with the organization's deepest purpose and convictions. Identity comes first, everything flows from it. An organization’s Identity serves as the foundation upon which the rest of the organization is built.

How Identity Works
Identity acts as a compass for the organization. Identity guides strategy acting as a
filter for strategic decisions from people and culture to operational standards.
Identity guides behaviors and actions. It shows teams what to measure. Through
Tenets, Identity begins to define how work should work.
